What a label cropping tool should do with your uploaded PDF

A shipping label PDF is one of the most sensitive files a seller handles. Every page has a real person on it: full name, delivery address, often a phone number, and what they bought. A hundred-order export is a hundred-record personal data file, and uploading it to a free website is a decision worth thinking about for a moment.

Three questions worth asking

First, when is the file deleted? "Deleted periodically" and "deleted when you download" are very different promises. The second means the window in which your buyers data exists on someone elses server is measured in seconds.

Second, what is kept after deletion? A tool can reasonably keep a count of pages processed without keeping any of the names. If it keeps the order details "for your history", that history is a copy of your buyers data sitting somewhere indefinitely.

Third, can anyone else reach your upload? If a tool works without an account, ask what stops one visitor from seeing another visitors labels. A guessable link or a shared list means anyone can.
